FIFA has officially unveiled the 2026 World Cup album, and once again Nigerian artists have secured a dominant presence on football’s biggest global stage despite the Super Eagles missing out on qualification.
The tournament, set to be hosted across the United States, Canada and Mexico, will feature four Nigerian stars on its official soundtrack lineup, further underlining Afrobeats’ growing influence in global football culture.
Burna Boy leads the Nigerian representation after being featured on the official tournament anthem “Dai Dai” alongside Shakira, continuing his long-standing involvement in global sporting entertainment projects.

Rema also makes the list with “Goals”, collaborating with LISA and Anitta, a cross-continental fusion of Afrobeats, K-pop and Latin pop that reflects FIFA’s increasingly globalized music direction.
Davido features on “No Place Like Home” alongside Major Lazer and Nelly Furtado, while Ayra Starr appears on “Show Me” with American rapper Latto, completing Nigeria’s strong four-artist representation on the project.
The development adds to a growing pattern in recent years where Nigerian music acts have consistently featured in global football moments from Burna Boy’s performances at UEFA Champions League events to Davido’s involvement in the 2022 FIFA World Cup soundtrack, and Rema’s appearance at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.
