Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has credited his teammates for helping him deliver a standout performance in Fulham’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the London Stadium.
The AC Milan loanee provided the assist for Kenny Tete’s opening goal and looked lively throughout, earning the Man of the Match award.
He also contributed defensively, tracking back and pressing Tottenham whenever possible.Speaking after the match, Chukwueze said:
“They push me really hard in training and keep me motivated. We are so proud of the result today. We worked for it in the training pitch.

“I wasn’t expecting it today. But I was focusing on doing the hard work. Last months have been a bit difficult but I kept my head down and kept working, and I took the opportunity today.
“The players gave everything on the field. We had to defend with all our life. This win is very, very important.”
