FC Nantes has rejected an opening offer from Paris FC for Nigerian forward Moses Simon, amid growing speculation over the player’s future.
The 29-year-old enjoyed his best-ever Ligue 1 campaign in 2024/25, scoring eight goals and providing 10 assists in 32 appearances.
His performances were vital in helping Nantes secure top-flight survival, with Simon directly involved in nearly half of the team’s goals.
Simon, who has become a fan favourite since joining the club permanently in 2020, is now entering the final year of his contract.

According to Quest-France, the newly promoted side submitted a €5m bid to sign the Super Eagles forward, but the offer was turned down.
Nantes are understood to value Simon closer to €12m and are reluctant to part ways unless that figure is met.

Simon ranks 25th on the club’s all-time goalscorers list and has been one of their most reliable attacking outlets over the past six seasons.
His partnership with Matthis Abline has also drawn interest, with Abline himself being monitored by the likes of Marseille, Lille, and several Premier League clubs.
