Osimhen saga continues as Napoli raise demands after Galatasaray agreement

Napoli reject Galatasaray's fourth offer for Osimhen after fresh demands on payment terms and sell-on clause, despite initial full agreement.

Napoli have turned down Galatasaray’s fourth offer for Victor Osimhen, even after the Turkish club agreed to all previously requested terms and conditions.

In what sources describe as a “shifting goalpost,” Napoli reportedly introduced new demands relating to the second instalment of payments and sell-on clause after Galatasaray had already accepted the original terms, including a €75 million total fee and structured payments.

The sudden change has left Galatasaray frustrated, leading to an internal discussion on whether they should walk away from the deal or return with a revised fifth offer.

Victor Osimhen’s stance remains unchanged—he wants to join Galatasaray and has ruled out all other options, including a proposed move to Saudi club Al Hilal.

The Nigerian forward has also reportedly reiterated to Napoli that he will not report for pre-season and is determined to leave the club this summer.

The situation has escalated tensions between the player and Napoli, with the club now risking a deeper standoff if a compromise is not reached.

Galatasaray are currently weighing their options and have not ruled out submitting a fifth offer, though confidence is said to be waning inside the Turkish club’s hierarchy.

As it stands, the Osimhen transfer saga remains one of the most dramatic and uncertain of the summer window.
