Real Zaragoza sign Nigerian striker from Real Salt Lake

Nigerian striker William Agada has joined Spanish club Real Zaragoza on a free transfer, signing a deal that runs until the end of the season.

The Segunda División side confirmed the 26-year-old’s arrival on Monday, as they look to boost their attacking options in the second half of the campaign.

Zaragoza are currently second from bottom in the table and have struggled in front of goal, holding the lowest scoring record in Spain’s second tier after 23 matches.

Born in Bauchi, Agada is known for his pace and ability to play across the front line, either as a central striker or from wide positions, qualities Zaragoza hope will add urgency and movement to their attack.
