Hull City have emerged as the leading contenders to sign Super Eagles winger Femi Azeez from Championship side Millwall as the 25-year-old continues to attract interest following a breakthrough year for club and country.
The Tigers are reportedly at the front of the queue for the versatile attacker, who has become one of the most sought-after Nigerian players in the transfer market after an outstanding 2025/26 campaign.
Azeez has also been linked with Premier League clubs Bournemouth and Brighton & Hove Albion, while newly promoted Ipswich Town were previously credited with an interest before ending their pursuit after signing Abdul Fatawu from Leicester City.
Millwall, however, are determined to keep hold of one of their prized assets and are understood to value the winger at no less than £15 million.
The former Reading player still has two years remaining on his contract at The Den.

Azeez enjoyed the best campaign of his career last season, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.
His performances earned him a place in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season, underlining his growing reputation as one of the division’s most exciting attacking talents.
The winger’s pace, direct running and ability to play across the frontline have made him an attractive option for clubs looking to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Azeez’s stock has risen even further since making his Super Eagles debut earlier this year.
The winger announced himself on the international stage by scoring twice in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory over Zimbabwe in the Unity Cup, becoming the first Super Eagles player in the 21st century to score a brace on his senior debut.

Although head coach Eric Chelle praised the achievement, he also challenged the winger to improve aspects of his technical play, insisting there was still room for development despite the dream debut.
Azeez responded positively to the criticism, revealing afterwards that Chelle had given the attacking players freedom to express themselves in the final third while also admitting he had been deployed in the unfamiliar role of a No. 10.
He followed up that memorable debut with another influential display in the Unity Cup final, providing an assist for Terem Moffi as Nigeria defeated Jamaica 3-0 to retain the trophy and secure a record fourth Unity Cup title.
