Former Super Eagles forward Victor Moses finds himself at a career crossroads, with his future at Luton Town now uncertain. As his contract nears its expiration in June 2025.

Moses, who joined Luton Town from Spartak Moscow in the summer of 2024, has experienced a challenging season in the EFL Championship.

Despite an illustrious career that includes winning the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria and successful spells at top clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool, Moses has struggled to make a significant impact at Kenilworth Road.

The 34-year-old has managed only one goal in 18 appearances this season, and Luton’s ongoing fight against relegation further complicates his situation.

According to Africa Foot, both Moses and Luton Town have mutually agreed not to extend his contract, which is set to expire at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Given his extensive career, which has seen him play at the highest levels of club and international football, the prospect of retirement is becoming increasingly likely.

Moses’ career highlights include winning Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League with Chelsea, as well as his instrumental role in helping Nigeria secure the 2013 AFCON title.

However, with his playing days winding down, the decision to continue at the professional level or step away from the game entirely is one that Moses must now confront.
