Super Eagles and FC Augsburg midfielder, Frank Onyeka is expected to return to Brentford when the season ends, as there are no ongoing talks over a permanent move to Augsburg.
The 27-year-old midfielder joined FC Augsburg from Brentford because he was sidelined by the Bees coach, Thomas Frank, as he barely got playing time or started games for his club sides.

However, since moving to Germany, he’s been a powerhouse for Jess Thorup’s side, starting 24 of the 25 Bundesliga games he’s played.

Augsburg are close to hitting the 40-point mark, which guarantees safety in the German top-flight as no team with that number of points have been relegated to the 2. Bundesliga. Onyeka’s side are currently 11th on the league table.
Though he has made exploit and kept a blueprint in FC Augsburg, his club side Brentford have done well without Onyeka, and Ivan Toney, who was their primary goal scorer, but then moved to the Saudi Pro League at the start of the season.

The Bees are seated comfortably at 12th on the English Premier League table with 42 points from 31 games and are assured of safety from relegation.
