Super Eagles winger Moses Simon has addressed speculation about his future, stating he remains fully committed to FC Nantes despite growing interest from other clubs. The 28-year-old Nigerian international enjoyed a standout 2023/24 season, contributing 8 goals and 10 assists in 32 appearances, making him one of the most productive wingers in Ligue 1.

In an exclusive interview with SportsBoom, as reported by Liverpool Echo, Simon acknowledged transfer rumours but emphasised his satisfaction with life at Nantes, while leaving the door open for a potential move to the Premier League if the right opportunity arises.

“Yes, I’ve heard about the interest, and I know my agent is in contact with some clubs. Right now, I’m still a Nantes player,” Simon said. “I’ve always given my best for this club, and I respect my contract. But of course, every player wants to play at the highest level.”

The Premier League has long been a dream destination for Simon, who has previously been linked with clubs in England. However, he stressed that any potential transfer must align with his career ambitions and family considerations.

“The Premier League is one of the best in the world. If the right offer comes, and it’s good for me and my family, then why not? But I’m not desperate,” he added. “I have peace here in France. It has to be the right project.”

Simon’s balanced approach reflects his maturity as a player. While he remains a key figure for Nantes, his consistent performances have inevitably attracted attention from bigger leagues. With his pace, creativity, and end product, he could be an asset for mid-table or even top-flight Premier League sides seeking an experienced winger.

For now, Nantes fans can take comfort in Simon’s professionalism, but the coming weeks could determine whether he remains in Ligue 1 or embarks on a new challenge in England.
