The Nigeria National League (NNL) has moved the decisive Matchday 3 fixtures of the 2025 Super 8 playoffs to Ozoro Polytechnic Stadium after four clubs raised serious concerns over the playing condition at the Ogwuashiukwu Township Stadium.
Barau FC, Kun Khalifat FC, Osun United FC, and Doma United FC all rejected the Ogwuashiukwu pitch on Wednesday morning, describing the surface as “dangerous and substandard” just hours before the final round of group matches.
The protest triggered swift intervention from the NNL leadership, who conducted an emergency inspection before relocating all remaining fixtures to Ozoro.
