Brighton & Hove Albion have dismissed reports claiming Nigerian youngster Zadok Yohanna could be sent out on loan ahead of the 2026/27 season, insisting the promising attacker remains firmly in the club’s plans.
Speculation surrounding Yohanna’s future surfaced in recent days, with reports suggesting the Seagulls were considering a temporary move to accelerate the youngster’s development and provide him with regular first-team football elsewhere.
However, sources close to the Premier League club have strongly denied the claims, describing the reports as inaccurate and insisting no loan arrangement is currently under consideration.

Brighton are understood to be satisfied with the progress Yohanna has made since arriving at the club and view him as one of the exciting young talents within their development structure.
Rather than seeking opportunities away from the Amex Stadium, Yohanna is expected to remain with the Seagulls and take part fully in pre-season preparations as the club gears up for the new campaign.
Brighton have built a reputation for developing young players and gradually integrating emerging talents into senior football, a pathway that has helped establish the club as one of the Premier League’s leading talent incubators.
