The Confederation of African Football has appointed an Ethiopian refereeing team for Tuesday’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash between Guinea-Bissau and Nigeria’s Super Eagles.
Tewodros Mitiku will take charge of the Group L encounter as the centre referee, with compatriots Fasika Biru Fasika and Tigle Belachew appointed as the first and second assistant referees respectively.
Manuhe Woldetsadik will serve as the fourth official.
The match is scheduled for the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro in Bissau, with kickoff set for 4pm local time and 5pm Nigerian time.
CAF has also appointed Senegalese Yaya Balde as the match commissioner, while former FIFA referee Papa Bakary Gassama of The Gambia will serve as referee assessor.

The appointment comes as both teams prepare for a crucial second Group L fixture.
Nigeria began their qualifying campaign with a 2-1 comeback victory over Madagascar in Uyo, while Guinea-Bissau opened with an impressive 2-0 away win against Tanzania.
The Djurtus currently sit top of the group on goal difference, with the Super Eagles also on three points.
Tuesday’s meeting therefore presents an early opportunity for either side to strengthen its position in the race for the group’s remaining qualification place, with Tanzania already guaranteed a place at AFCON 2027 as a co-host.
