Thousands of supporters lined the premises of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Saturday as fans of Rangers International departed for Lagos ahead of the club’s title-deciding 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League clash against Ikorodu City.
The Enugu State Government made available 10 buses to convey supporters of the Flying Antelopes to Lagos for the crucial encounter.
The convoy of 50-seater buses included students, stadium stewards, Enugu residents, political groups, Rangers Youth, supporters club Rangers Female team all travelling to back the club in one of the biggest matches of the season.

According to Athletic NG findings supporters travelling to Lagos are expected to receive N30,000 each for feeding and accommodation for three days, Saturday, Sunday and Monday in a move backed by the Enugu State Government under Governor Peter Mbah.
The financial support package, which runs into millions of naira, is aimed at ensuring Rangers have a strong support base in Lagos for the decisive encounter.
