FIFA-licensed football agent Nnamdi Nwaeze has commended Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru for what he described as the rapid development of sports in the state.
Nwaeze made the remarks during a courtesy visit to Governor Nwifuru, where he was accompanied by Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi.
The Ebonyi-born agent, who is regarded as one of Nigeria’s prominent football agents, led members of the Chukwmeremeze family of Akwurakwu Agba Autonomous Community on a visit to the governor as part of this year’s Ojiji Festival.

Speaking during the visit, Nwaeze praised the governor’s efforts in sports while suggesting that more could still be achieved.
“I want to use this medium to commend His Excellency for a job well done in the area of sports in Ebonyi State,” Nwaeze said.
He also pointed to the progress of Abakaliki FC, the state’s football club, which competes in the Nigeria National League (NNL), as part of the developments in the state’s sporting landscape.
“However, I believe that the governor is not yet satisfied with what he has achieved in the area of sports development in the state, which is the more reason why I’m commending him and also for our club, Abakaliki FC, making their trade in the Nigerian second top-flight league, Nigeria National League (NNL),” he added.

Nwaeze’s comments come as Ebonyi continues to develop its presence in Nigerian sports, with football remaining a major part of the state’s sporting activities.
Nwaeze is an Ebonyi State-born FIFA-licensed football agent involved in player representation and football-related activities.
