Trabzonspor submit reported €15m bid for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze

Trabzonspor have reportedly made a €15 million offer to AC Milan for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze as the Turkish club steps up its summer recruitment.

Samuel Chukwueze has emerged as a major transfer target for Trabzonspor after the Turkish Cup holders reportedly submitted a €15 million bid to AC Milan for the Super Eagles winger ahead of the 2026/27 season.

The Turkish club, which has already completed eight signings this summer, is looking to further strengthen its attacking options and has identified Chukwueze as the ideal addition on the right flank. Reports suggest Trabzonspor are also considering a deal that could include an obligation to buy under certain conditions as negotiations continue.

The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Fulham, where he produced flashes of his attacking quality despite an inconsistent campaign. Chukwueze scored three goals and provided four assists in 23 Premier League appearances, showcasing the pace, dribbling ability and creativity that have made him one of Nigeria’s most exciting wide players.

Although he remains under contract with AC Milan until 2028, the Serie A club could be open to discussions should an acceptable offer arrive.

Trabzonspor believe Chukwueze’s arrival would significantly enhance their attack as they prepare to compete on multiple fronts next season. Renowned for his explosive acceleration, direct running and ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations, the Nigerian has built a reputation for creating danger from the right wing by cutting inside onto his favoured left foot.

Trabzonspor’s pursuit could also see Chukwueze reunite with several Nigerian compatriots. The club already boasts Paul Onuachu, Chibuike Nwaiwu and Anthony Nwakaeme among its ranks, while fellow Nigerian forward Rafiu Durosinmi has also been linked with a move to the Turkish side this summer.
