Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi has made his position clear amid reported Premier League interest, insisting his immediate future remains with Marseille as he looks to establish himself in French football.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to England following an encouraging end to the 2025/26 season but reports from Le10Sport indicate the Nigerian has no plans to leave the Ligue 1 side this summer.
Nnadi joined Marseille from Belgian outfit Zulte Waregem during the January transfer window and initially found opportunities difficult to come by. However, his fortunes changed towards the end of the campaign as he started each of Marseille’s final four league matches, producing performances that strengthened his claim for a regular role next season.
Those displays have reportedly attracted attention from Premier League clubs, but the midfielder remains focused on continuing his development at the Stade Vélodrome rather than pursuing an immediate move elsewhere.

Speaking during a press conference in May, Nnadi underlined both his appreciation for the opportunity Marseille have given him and his desire to become an established figure at the club.
“I feel good, I’m playing so that’s the most important thing. My future? I’m happy to be here, I’m grateful for every opportunity I can have. As a player, I think it’s really nice to play at the Vélodrome, I want to do it as much as possible.”
The five-cap Nigeria international acknowledged that adapting after arriving midway through the season was never straightforward but believes he has now laid the foundation for a bigger contribution.
“I don’t know my future but I want to stay and prove that I deserve to be here. I arrived at the most difficult moment. I needed time to adapt. I seized the opportunity when it presented itself to me.”

Despite the player’s commitment, Marseille could still face difficult decisions during the transfer window. The French club are expected to carefully manage their finances under ongoing oversight from French football authorities, meaning offers for several players may be considered if they help balance the books.
